This map establishes parking requirements citywide based on context, availability of public transportation, and levels of walkability.
Atlanta is divided into three zones:

Parking Zone 1 (PZ1): No vehicular parking minimums. Incorporates parking maximums. Includes existing areas with no parking requirement, plus minor adjustments.

Parking Zone 2 (PZ2): Same as PZ1, plus vehicular parking is also required for lounges, nightclubs, bars, and party houses. Includes the existing Beltline and Buckhead Parking Overlays, plus minor edge adjustments.

Parking Zone 3 (PZ3): Same as PZ2, plus vehicular parking is also required for single-unit and two-unit dwellings.

Click the legend icon on the left to view the map legend, turn layers on or off, or adjust their order.
You can still share your comments through April 8, 2026. A final version (Draft V3) will then be prepared for City Council consideration.
